I run Equilinq, a sourcing and hardware engineering company that takes European brands and startups from design file to verified Chinese factory to EU door, at a fixed landed price and with the compliance file done. The company is registered in Hong Kong and run from Amsterdam, with our own team in Shenzhen. Equilinq is backed by one of the founding shareholders of Tencent Holdings.
I work between two worlds: European founders who need a factory, and the manufacturing base of Guangdong, where I have family and industry ties. Most weeks I talk to both.
Alongside Equilinq I am an investor and strategic advisor at Longlive Ltd, a UK health technology company, and I mentor first-year students in Amsterdam.

Beyond Equilinq I take a small number of advisory engagements for European companies that manufacture or buy in China: factory search and supplier audits in Guangdong, landed cost and duty modelling for the EU, design for manufacture reviews before tooling, and accompanied factory visits in Shenzhen and Dongguan. Fixed fee per engagement, no equity, no commission from factories.

I graduated from the Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany's state boarding school for highly gifted students, and I study Economics and Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam. I grew up between Germany, the Netherlands and Shenzhen and speak English, German and Chinese.
